Stunning Fall Colors
Lake George is just gorgeous in the fall. The drive up Prospect Mountain Highway gave us some of the best foliage views I've ever seen. The village is quieter this time of year, making it nice for a stroll and a peaceful meal by the water.
Car Show Weekend
Came up for the car show and the town was packed with amazing classic cars. The whole place is really geared up for it. Even without the event, the area is beautiful. Great driving roads through the mountains and good food spots by the water.
Great Family Spot
Lake George is perfect for a family trip. We spent so much time at Million Dollar Beach-the sand is clean and the water is so clear. The kids loved the arcade games in the village. It's an easy drive for us and feels like a classic summer vacation.
Fun Summer Escape
The town is super lively in the summer. We spent most of our time walking along Canada Street, popping into the shops and grabbing ice cream. The fireworks over the lake were spectacular. Lots of energy and things to do right in the village.
Beautiful & Relaxing
We went for a long weekend just as the season was starting. It was peaceful. Took a ride on one of the old steamboats, which gave us the best views of the mountains. It's a great place to just unwind and enjoy the scenery.
Awesome Winter Fun
Totally different place in the winter. The Winter Carnival was a blast with the polar plunge and chili cook-off. It's so cool seeing the whole town come out on the frozen lake. Much quieter than summer, but in a really good way.
